I guess my friend wasn’t thinking but he put the electronic food scale with bread on it in the microwave WITHOUT transferring it onto a plate first. It was only in there for about 5-10 seconds, and nothing caught fire or exploded. I repeat: NO FIRES OR EXPLOSIONS. There was smoke though and it smells like electricity in there. No punctures inside the chamber. The microwave has been used since a few times.
there is a small crack on the very outside plastic that happened a while ago. its very miniscule.
Is it still safe? I’m a bit paranoid about these things. Thanks in advance.
